During initial meetings and discussions, Lanex will work with its customers to determine the best tools to meet a customer’s needs.

Some criteria Lanex may discuss with a client include:

• Goals and objectives of the development project
• A development timeline
• Determine stakeholders and associated goals
• Define the audience and market segments that may need to be accommodated through the website.
• Evaluate a customer’s current Internet “footprint” and options which may help increase visibility
• Determine likes and dislikes which could include colors and styles, features and functions, and technology of a customer
• Discuss budget and evaluate site “needs” versus “wants”
• Develop a long-term picture of where a client wishes to be with their website, and determine the best platform for development
• Determine customer “to-do’s”, such as content which may need to be created
• Discuss an approach to training key personnel on site maintenance
• Discuss Search Engine Marketing considerations and goals.

From information gained during these meetings, Lanex will develop a comprehensive proposal for site development, identifying development and support costs, and a budget for recurring costs (such as site hosting.)

Options may be included which may be added to the project during initial development or during a later phase.

After presentation and acceptance of a proposal, Lanex will develop a customer’s vision through an interactive process with a customer, which may include in-person meetings, remote meetings, comprehensive designs and wireframes, and demonstrations of features during the development process.
